The Art of Outdoor Bathing

Begin with a shower, built for the purpose.

Feel the sun on your face and the hot water in your hair. Smell the damp earth and homemade soap in the air.

Next find a tub, abandoned or moved.

Fill it with water you warmed on the stove.

Then find a river, clear and cool.

Float in the water and feel renewed.

Dry on the banks, and then go on your way.
